Leading commercial law firm Acuity Law has acquired a specialist dental legal advisory firm as it seeks to expand its UK footprint and further strengthen its position within the healthcare sector.
The multi-award-winning firm has acquired Goodman Grant, which has offices in Leeds and Liverpool and is renowned in the industry for providing specialist legal advice to dentists, having been led by directors Ray Goodman and John Grant since 2011.
The acquisition forms part of Acuity’s ambitious UK expansion strategy. The firm’s healthcare team has grown to over 30 lawyers working throughout the UK. The Acuity healthcare team has completed £250m of deals in the last three years buoyed by a record period within the dentistry sector for mergers and acquisitions.

The integration of colleagues is being led by Acuity’s Head of Employment and HR, Claire Knowles, with all of Goodman Grant’s team members being retained.
