Acuity is pleased to have advised long-standing client and leading construction materials distributor Brickability Group plc (Brickability) on its acquisition of ET Clay Products Limited and Heritage Clay Tiles Limited, specialist suppliers of UK and imported clay facing bricks and high quality handmade and handcrafted clay roof tiles headquartered in South Ockendon, with a depot in the West Midlands and a Northern office in Hartlepool.

The acquisition is being structured by an initial cash payment of £8.1 million and deferred consideration of £3.5 million payable in cash over the next three years, subject to performance criteria.

Brickability CEO Alan Simpson said: “The acquisition provides another important step in the growth of our Import Division by further expanding the supply base of the Group through new access to a range of overseas manufacturers.”

Corporate Partner Beverley Jones and Senior Associate Tom Saunderson led the transaction, with cross departmental support from Joe Rogers, Ffion Morgan, Emma Hutchings, Demi Davies and Adam McGlynn.
