Acuity Law advises Portman Dental on the acquisition of six practices

In a busy few weeks, Acuity Law advised Portman Dental on the acquisition of six dental practices in seven weeks.
In addition to the acquisition of Regent Dental on the Isle of Man, Acuity also advised Portman on the purchase of three orthodontic practices based in Portsmouth and Bath, with the purchase of Southsea Orthodontic Practice and Waterlooville Orthodontic Practice on 23 September 2020, and Circus Orthodontics on 30 September 2020. The acquisitions add to the growing Portman Orthodontic family and brings Portman’s total number of practices to 143.
With the acquisition of Portsmouth-based Southsea Orthodontic Practice and Waterlooville Orthodontic Practice, Acuity were delighted to assist Portman in their second multi-practice acquisition since lockdown measures were introduced, and along with the acquisition of Circus Orthodontics in Bath, to aid them in building their growing orthodontic portfolio.
