Acuity December Promotions Round

We are delighted to announce five promotions, all with effect from 1st December

Jennifer Butcher

Jennifer Butcher, promoted to Lead Partner in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Team. Jennifer has developed a reputation for her industry-leading advice on a wide range of complex property litigation work.  She advises property developers in relation to disputes surrounding their freehold land and has experience of advising banking clients in relation to the management of property portfolios and property disputes which arise through the administration of estates. We have an incredibly strong and talented Litigation & Dispute Resolution Team and Jennifer is a key member of the department and will continue to grow our Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice.

Philip Graham, promoted to Lead Partner in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Team. Philip has extensive experience in all forms of dispute resolution, having previously headed up an established construction practice for 10 years. Philip regularly acts in complex construction matters arising from multi-million-pound disputes. Philip has quickly developed an impressive portfolio of clients and is a key member of the department.

Natalie Jones, Senior Associate at Acuity Law

Natalie Jones, promoted to Legal Director in the Corporate Team. Natalie trained and qualified at Acuity and is an experienced corporate and commercial lawyer. Natalie spent some time working in a Top 10 UK law firm as a specialist corporate lawyer and returned to Acuity in August 2019. Natalie has strong technical and project management skills and advises clients on complex transactions and commercial arrangements. She has advised on a wide range of high-profile transactions and projects for both public and private companies including, acquisitions, mergers, fundraisings, joint ventures, developments and commercial frameworks often with a cross-border aspect. Natalie has impressed clients and colleagues with her hard work, dedication and high levels of expertise.

Jared Ursell, promoted to Senior Associate in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Team. Since joining Acuity, Jared has impressed clients and colleagues with his solutions focussed advice on a number of high- value professional negligence, breach of contract, and director and shareholder disputes.

Adam McGlynn, promoted to Associate in the Employment Team. Winner of Rising Star at the Wales Legal Awards 2022, Adam has a broad range of experience with both contentious and non-contentious employment matters. He is passionate about using technology to create strategic advantages and improve efficiencies. Products that Adam has been instrumental in developing include Acuity’s Redundancy Costs Calculator and our IR35 Assist assessment tool.

All five promotions are thoroughly deserved, and we are delighted for Jennifer, Philip, Natalie, Jared & Adam.
