Role Overview

Due to rapid growth and continued success, our highly-regarded Commercial team are seeking a two year PQE Solicitor with strong commercial experience to join their busy Cardiff operation.

Properly drafted contracts are the heart of every successful business. Whether it is with suppliers, customers or agents, watertight agreements are the best way to protect business interests and manage risks.

From negotiating joint ventures and strategic alliances to outsourcings and major contracts, Acuity’s Commercial team handle commercial agreements for running any aspect of a business operation.

The role of Commercial Solicitor will involve undertaking a varied caseload from large projects through to small matters. It will be a client-facing role with excellent client contact opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting directly into the Head of Commercial of a highly functioning, collaborative and ambitious team you will be an integral part of Acuity’s Commercial offering. 

• Drafting and reviewing commercial contracts
• Franchise agreements
• E-commerce and software as a service agreement
• Supply terms
• Agency agreements
• Buying and selling a business
• Participation in business development and networking initiatives

• A solicitor with 2+ PQE
• Technically proficient in all aspects of commercial work
• Excels in verbal and written communication
• Good time and file management skills
• Strives for high standards and is willing to go the extra mile for clients
