Adam is an Associate in our Employment team.

He has a broad range of experience with both contentious and non-contentious employment matters and is active for some of the firm’s key clients across a broad spectrum of Employment matters.

Adam is passionate about using technology to create strategic advantages and improve efficiencies. He was instrumental in developing some of our key products, including Acuity’s Redundancy Costs Calculator and our IR35 Assist assessment tool. The Wales Legal Awards 2022 (in which Adam won “Rising Star of the Year”) referred to Adam’s work as “bespoke industry-leading legal solutions”.

Adam has become a regular presenter on both Employment law and technology-related issues. He recently spoke on the “Future of Lawtech in Wales” for LawTechUK and regularly addresses South Wales-based universities on topics from employment law to commercial awareness. He speaks frequently at ICAEW’s Members in Business Conferences on recent and upcoming employment law updates, and supports future lawyers to provide start-ups with pro bono advice through his relationship with Cardiff University. He is also a regular writer and media commentator on legal and business topics.

Adam is Professional Development Officer and a Council Member at the Cardiff & District Law Society.

  • Delivering a comprehensive training package to upskill staff at Cardiff International Airport, including training sessions on Effective Management and Diversity & Inclusion.
  • Advising Brickability Group PLC on employment-related due diligence in connection with the acquisition of Beacon Roofing Limited, Modular Clay Products Limited, and the combined acquisition of E.T. Clay Products Limited and Heritage Clay Tiles Limited
  • Providing ongoing support to Bright Network in navigating regulatory requirements and commercial negotiations for the supply of its Bright Network Technology Academy graduates to businesses across the UK. This included negotiating and advising on supply agreements with several new BNTA partners including Sky, HMRC, CFC Underwriting, Lloyds Bank, and Alexander Mann Solutions Limited, while advising on ongoing relationships with businesses including Morgan Stanley, Marks & Spencer, and Atos
