Chelsey Bishop

Chelsey Bishop is an Associate within our Real Estate Team.

Chelsey graduated from the University of Lancaster in 2016 and then interned at a Chambers in Hong Kong where she focused on construction contracts before she completed her LPC course at BBP in 2017. She went on to qualify into real estate in October 2019 and worked at Birketts LLP prior to joining Acuity. 

Chelsey has gained experience in a wide range of real estate transactions which includes landlord and tenant matters such as drafting and negotiating leases, licences and supplemental documents as well as investment sales and acquisitions of commercial, mixed-use and residential property (both leasehold and freehold).

Chelsey has extensive experience advising on a broad range of real estate finance matters, including the acquisition and financing of development and investment sites. Chelsey has acted for a range of developer, borrower and private lender clients, with particular experience advising on the acquisition and funding of residential and mixed-use development sites, as well as park home and caravan sites.

Chelsey has advised on transactions with an aggregate value in excess of £300 million, including numerous portfolio acquisitions and refinancing. This work has involved the preparation and negotiation of CLLS Certificates of Title, as well as lender-specific reports and reporting requirements.
