Damien Cann is a Partner within our Real Estate team.

Damien is an established adviser on the acquisition, disposal, letting and funding of commercial properties, he has a long track record of advising clients in the healthcare sector, including Achieve Together, CHOICE, Cygnet, LifeCare and Portman Healthcare Limited.

Damien has worked on numerous equity and debt-funded property development schemes with a particular specialism in development finance agreements with pension funds for both public and private sector clients.  Most notably in recent years he has acted for Rightacres, an innovative commercial property developer specialising in occupier-led property solutions for business, on the arrangements with Legal and General for the regeneration of Cardiff Central Square.

With particularly strong technical legal skills, Damien brings a wealth of commercial experience and is known for his technical expertise.

Advising the Choice Care Group on the property elements of a multi-million pound acquisition of a residential and supported living business in the Midlands.
Advising Rightacres Property Co Limited on the redevelopment of Central Square in Cardiff including the Interchange development comprising the bus station, 300 PRS units and L&G’s head office as well as the former Brain’s Brewery site in Cardiff known as Central Quay.
Advising West Sussex County Council on the £200 million development of Horsham Enterprise Park.
Advised Wildfox Group on the acquisition of a brownfield site for the development of a £250 million adventure resort in West Wales.
Advising Investec Bank PLC on the funding of a prime mixed use development overlooking the River Thames.
Supporting Associated British Ports on high value lease disposals in multiple port facilities

Advising the Pasture Restaurant Group on its expansion in Cardiff, Bristol and Birmingham.
