Emma is an associate in our Real Estate team.

She is a broad-based Real Estate expert, experienced in real estate finance, acquisitions and disposals, development, landlord and tenant issues and corporate support transactions.

Having qualified at Hugh James, Emma joined Acuity’s Real Estate team as a Solicitor in December 2018, and became an Associate in July 2021.

  • Advising institutional lenders in real estate finance transactions
  • Drafting documents, such as contracts for sale, transfers and leases
  • Drafting reports on title for both leasehold and freehold acquisitions and reporting to clients
  • Advising Rightacres Property Co Limited on the funding to develop Victorian brewery buildings into an office and leisure development at the Brew House, Central Quay, Cardiff
  • Acting for Royale Life/Time GB group in the acquisition of assets with a deal value of circa £750 million
  • Assisting Brickability Group plc, one of the UK’s largest construction materials distributors, on its acquisitions of Beacon Roofing, Modular Clay Products and ET Clay Products and Heritage Clay Tiles
  • Assisting a senior fee earner in relation to the acquisition of a £6,000,000 parcel of land for a well-known developer in South Wales
  • Assisting a senior fee earner with real estate finance transactions of various values up to £3,000,000
  • Acting on behalf of a large UK investment company in the acquisition of freehold and leasehold premises throughout the UK
  • Acting on behalf of clients and lenders in dual representation real estate Finance transactions Reviewing, negotiating and reporting on commercial leases
  • Advised Business Systems (UK) Limited and its shareholders in connection with an investment by private equity house August Equity
