When Head of Legal and Insurance at Transport for Wales, Jason was involved in the £1bn-plus Core Valley Lines transformation, supporting the upgrade of rail infrastructure, the introduction of modern rolling stock and the electrification of valley-line services. He also advised on the delivery of Cardiff and Porth Bus Interchanges.
Led legal and governance work for the creation of a fibre telecoms subsidiary to commercialise spare capacity in fibre signalling assets, and for the acquisition of Pullman Rail Limited to enhance operational capacity at Transport for Wales.
Negotiated commercial terms for a 15-year hydrogen supply contract for Wales’s first hydrogen bus fleet.
