La’Shaunna Williamson

La’Shaunna Williamson is a Trainee Solicitor within our Property Healthcare Team.

Before joining Acuity, La’Shaunna graduated in Law from Cardiff University with an integrated Professional Paralegal Placement year. During this time, she gained practical experience in residential property. She also founded and served as President of the Cardiff University Women in Law Society. In addition, she co-founded the Commercial Awareness Society, acting as Relations Co-ordinator in 2022, and held the same role in the Ladies of Law Committee.

At Cardiff University, La’Shaunna became the first elected Anti-Racism Officer. She also created the university’s first Anti-Racism Association. In this role, she worked with South Wales Police and NUS Wales UK to advance race equality and dismantle racism. As part of her efforts, she reviewed the Race Council Cymru’s Zero Racism Wales pledge.

Her commitment to inclusion and diverstiy continued beyond university. She contributed to the ND Lawyer Project, which aims to ensure meaningful inclusion in the legal sector for neurodivergent individuals. Furthermore, she volunteered with Jabilie, a UK charity working internationally to educate and empower survivors and individuals at high risk of gender-based violence.

La’Shaunna has received significant recognition for her leadership and advocacy. She was named Law Student of the Year Award 2022 at the Next 100 Years Inspirational Women in Law Awards presented at Clifford Chance LLP. She also won the Outstanding Leadership Award 2023 at the Dubai Marketing Conference 2.0 and was selected as one of the 2023 Top 150 UK Leaders in Powerlist Magazine. In 2024 she won the Society of Caribbean Lawyers (SOCAL) Law Student of the Year Award.

Outside of work, La’Shaunna can be found running, playing netball, reading, and hiking.
