Liz is an experienced real estate and property lawyer.

She acts for a range of clients, including social housing providers, commercial investors, property developers and high-net-worth individuals dealing with acquisitions, disposals and refinancing of properties. Liz has a particular specialism in the social housing sector and deals with both commercial and residential property matters. In a prior role, she led the residential property department of a Bristol-based firm.

Liz’s primary focus is on strong relationships, excellent client service and a commercial approach. She is ranked by Chambers and Partners and is a former Board Member of the Tenant Participation Advisory Service Cymru (TPAS Cymru).

  • Acting for Trivallis Limited on a wayleave agreement affecting all its communal blocks, in connection with a programme of works to upgrade the fibre connections in the properties
  • Advising Coastal Housing Association Limited in relation to:
    i) Any property-related disputes across its residential, leasehold, and commercial portfolio. This includes forfeiture for non-payment of rent, dilapidations claims, disrepair claims, disputes relating to service charges, boundary disputes and trespass claims
    ii) Policies, procedures and key operational decisions concerning its residential leasehold properties and the impact of the cost of living on the leaseholders
  • Acting for Private Energy Partners (a Quinbrook affiliate) in its securing of exclusive development rights from renewable energy firm SIMEC Atlantis Energy to develop one of the largest battery storage systems in the UK
  • Advising Eden Living Properties Limited on the launch of an innovative private rented sector business focusing on the acquisition and letting of newly built housing in South Wales and the South West of England
  • Securing the instruction to act for BVI-based funder Marshal European Investment Co I Sarl in connection with its funding of development sites within the UK
  • Advised Pobl Group in relation to its acquisition of the former County Hall site in Cwmbran intended for the proposed development of 143 houses
  • Advised Cardiff Community Housing Association on its acquisition of the former Llanrumney Play Centre site to enable the construction of 12 energy efficient homes utilising social house grant funding
