Lucy Bulley

Lucy Bulley is our Commercial Growth Consultant at Acuity Law, where she helps the firm’s consultant lawyers and professional services teams grow, scale and build operations that last.

Over the past 15 years she has worked in, with and alongside more than 100 startups and growing businesses across fintech, insurtech, financial services, cyber security, renewable energy, fashion and health technology. She is known for bringing operational clarity to fast-growing and often heavily regulated businesses, and for turning complex commercial challenges into clear, practical steps teams can act on quickly.

At Acuity she works closely with founders, leadership teams and independent consultants to identify revenue opportunities, sharpen commercial strategy and put practical structures in place. Recent projects include managing a multi-million-pound FCA change of permission for an insurance business, directing the FinTech Wales Foundry accelerator programme, advising consultancy teams on scalable operations, and supporting strategic planning for founder exits.

Her approach is highly practical and commercially focused, helping teams convert genuine expertise into consistent, high-quality revenue while building robust foundations for what comes next. She works closely with the firm’s consultant lawyers to enhance performance, drive collaboration and deliver lasting value across the business.

Lucy was named a Women in FinTech Powerlist Senior Leader 2025 by Innovate Finance, and is a regular voice on startup growth, leadership, scaling and the realities of entrepreneurship.
