Natalie was promoted to Legal Director in 2022 in recognition of her extensive experience as a corporate and commercial lawyer. She has very strong technical and project management skills, which are deeply valued by the clients with whom she works on complex transactions and commercial arrangements.

On the corporate side, Natalie frequently advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, disposals, fundraisings, joint ventures, developments and commercial frameworks, often with a cross-border aspect. She has a particular focus on disposals, fundraising and project planning and has worked on a number of high-profile and substantial deals, including the £160m battery storage project to be developed at Uskmouth Power Station and the sale of IX Group subsidiaries to Kester Capital.

Natalie also has extensive experience in the information technology sector, and on the commercial front, she is valued for her extensive expertise in advising on a range of IT contracts such as, SaaS agreements, software reseller agreements, IT support, servicing and outsourcing arrangements, software development agreements and software licence agreements.

She gained significant experience in the renewable energy sector following a 13-month secondment with a renewables developer.

  • Acting for Quinbrook Infrastructure in connection with the acquisition of the exclusive development rights for one of the UK’s largest battery storage projects from Simec Atlantis Energy Limited (“Project Uskmouth”) and a subsequent investment round, totalling £160 million. The planned 230MW/460MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), will be located at the site of the former Uskmouth coal-fired power station in South Wales and represents a major anchoring project in the planned re-development and regeneration of the site into a Sustainable Energy Park that will support innovative future industry
  • Advising Acacia (PB) Limited and its shareholders in connection with the acquisition of Eastchurch Holiday Centre Limited, Elmhurst Leisure Park Limited, and the business and assets of Brookside Leisure Park from three separate vendors, and the subsequent disposal of Acacia (PB) to Time GB Kent Holdings Limited
  • Advising and assisting Eco2 Limited on a series of developments in the clean energy sector, including three biomass power station projects involving £100+ financings
  • Advising FTSE-listed Capita Group on its acquisition programme, completing multiple transactions in the £5-to-£30-million range
  • Acting for healthcare staffing provider Independent Clinical Services in its acquisition of ProClinical Limited, a leading recruitment agency in the pharma and life sciences sector with subsidiaries in the US, Germany, Switzerland and Singapore
  • Advising Wales Environmental Limited on a series of strategic acquisitions, which involved the provision of debt and equity funding
  • Providing ongoing commercial legal advice to various subscribers to Acuity Counsel. This involves reviewing, advising on and negotiating a wide variety of commercial agreements including agreements for services, framework agreements, management services agreement, operation and maintenance agreements and terms and conditions of sale
  • Advising on the acquisition by Neptune 6 of the shares in Newport Wafer Fab (NWF) from Infineon AG, and the associated commercial and finance arrangements
  • Advising a national housing association on a joint venture with a modular housing business and reviewing and advising on the terms of the associated supply and manufacturing arrangements
