Rachelle Sellek is a Senior Partner and shareholder of Acuity Law, and a member of the Senior Leadership Team.

She has significant experience in advising clients on all aspects of commercial and corporate arrangements, specialising in high-profile corporate work, with particular expertise in sizeable joint ventures and international transactions.

Rachelle is well established and respected, and has built a reputation as a strong, diligent, and trustworthy lawyer over more than 30 years in the corporate, commercial and IT sectors. She has extensive experience in a range of commercial contracts, including systems implementation and integration, SaaS contracts, international data transfer agreements, intellectual property, development agreements and supply contracts.

Rachelle has a substantial track record acting for clients in the data and information compliance sectors, such as Trusted Data Solutions and Creditsafe. Her work for these clients includes advising on data and privacy issues, licensing, SaaS, reseller and end user agreements, both in the UK and internationally.

In addition, Rachelle has acted for Premier Forest Group for many years, advising on several acquisitions as part of its buy and build strategy, including the sale of Premier Forest’s Irish subsidiary to Murdock Builders Merchants and its high-profile acquisition of assets from the administrators of National Timber Group.

Acting for Timberwolf, an Alamo group company, on its acquisition of the business of GreenMech, a manufacturer and supplier of wood chippers including the acquisition of its European sales and technical support hubs in France and Germany.

Acting for Trusted Data Solutions’ on the sale of its legacy data management business to Kerv, its first disposal in the UK.

Representing leading UK timber company Premier Forest Products on multiple acquisition of respected regional supplier of timber products, joinery and roof trusses, Monmouthshire Timber Supplies Limited. The acquisition extends Premier Forest’s product portfolio and service capabilities.

Advising the majority shareholders of Wealthify (a robo-investment platform) on the disposal of a majority shareholding to Aviva plc.

Advising on the corporate aspects of a property joint venture for the development of a new school and sixth form centre and residential homes.

Advising a leading dental group on the implications of the Insurance Distribution Directive.

Advising Seren Photonics on the first stage of a £1,000,000 funding round to provide capital for the continued development of its next generation microLED displays.

Advising the Institute for Advanced Automotive Propulsion Systems, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the University of Bath, on its operating model for its first year of operation.
