Shawnee Evans is a Senior Associate in our Real Estate team.

Shawnee joined the firm in April 2023 and specialises in all aspects of commercial property law, with a particular focus on development projects. She regularly advises developers on the acquisition and disposal of both commercial and residential development sites, including site acquisitions, conditional contracts, option agreements, overage arrangements and related infrastructure and planning agreements such as Section 104 and Section 106 agreements. She is also experienced in structuring mixed-use developments and handling subsequent plot sales and refinances.

Shawnee also provides real estate support on a wide range of corporate transactions, advising on the property aspects of share and asset acquisitions and disposals, with particular experience in the care homes and healthcare sectors.

In addition, Shawnee advises on the acquisition and disposal of freehold and leasehold property, as well as a broad range of landlord and tenant matters. Her work includes portfolio management, leasehold enfranchisement, lease extensions, and acting for institutional lenders on real estate finance transactions.
