Johnathan Rees is a partner in our Corporate team.
Johnathan is an experienced deal lawyer with a focus on M&A and private equity transactions. He is highly experienced in advising on an array of corporate transactions, including equity fundraisings, acquisitions, disposals, restructurings and joint ventures, and his clients include a broad range of corporates from start-ups to large owner-managed businesses, public companies and international groups, often in the ESG and life sciences sectors.
Clients have described Johnathan as “going the extra mile, always available and accessible” and “open, listens and provides practical advice – easy to deal with”. Johnathan has been commended in legal directories for both his technical ability and team building skills. A proud Welshman, Johnathan’s London-based practice encompasses both national and international matters.
Prior to joining Acuity, Johnathan enjoyed a career as a professional rugby player. He trained as a lawyer at an international firm in the City and worked as a partner at national firms in both London and Manchester.
