Swyn Llyr is an Associate within our Employment team.

She specialises in The Equality Act 2010, tribunal litigation and settlement agreements. Previously, she worked as an Employment specialist at Slater & Gordon before joining Acuity.

In addition, Swyn is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.

Work highlights

Advising renewable energy company Dulas Limited with ad-hoc employment matters, including dismissals, capability procedures, and disciplinaries, as well as preparing and drafting agreements, including but not limited to, apprenticeship, secondment and consultancy agreements.

Guiding technology company Vista Retail Support Limited in dealing with an employee with serious mental health complications by mitigating risks, as well as on the exit of an employee on long-term sickness absence, facilitated via a settlement agreement.

Negotiating and advising on settlement agreements for employers following a restructure.

Supporting Juliette Franklin on various Employment Tribunal claims, including unfair dismissal, disability discrimination, race discrimination, victimisation, and harassment.

Drafting and advising on template contracts of employment, and preparing tailored employment policies and procedures for employers.
