Acuity Law Advises Premier Forest on Acquisition of Decor Panel

Acuity is thrilled to have advised long-standing client Premier Forest Products (Premier Forest) on the acquisition of Decor Panel Limited (Decor Panel).

Established in 1998, Decor Panel is a highly successful and specialised panel processing business based in Tyne and Wear, employing over 60 employees.

The acquisition by Premier Forest marks the latest steps in its geographic expansion into North England and a wider growth strategy set to expand its processing and machining capability in order to meet growing customer demand.

Terry Edgell, CEO and co-founder of Premier Forest states: ‘”The acquisition is great news for our customers who will benefit from our shared expertise and greater product range. We start 2023 full of ambitious growth plans and the purchase of Decor Panel stands in good stead to reach our targets for the year.

Corporate partner Rachelle Sellek and Senior Associate Tom Saunderson led the transaction with support from Joe Rogers, Adam McGlynn, and Steve Morris. Premier Forest were also advised by Gambit Corporate Finance (deal structure and process) and Kilsby Williams (financial due diligence).
