Acuity Law Advises Wales Environmental On Acquisition By Hartsmil

Acuity is pleased to have advised long-standing client Wales Environmental Holdings Limited (Wales Environmental) and its shareholders on its recent acquisition by Hartsmil Limited (Hartsmil).

Leading drainage and liquid waste disposal operator Wales Environmental, previously backed by the Business Growth Fund and the Development Bank of Wales, has developed a strong presence in South Wales and across the South West of England following a number of acquisitions of various drainage companies which have taken place over the past 10 years.

Hartsmil (previously Biomarsh Holdings Limited) is the parent company of BioMarsh Environmental Ltd and has been operating as an expert in waste disposal and the clearing of sewers, septic tanks and waste removal of sewage and hazardous waste across the South East of England. since 1972.

The acquisition of Wales Environmental by Hartsmil will provide Wales Environmental with the platform to continue to develop and grow its already well-established brand and provides an opportunity for Hartsmil to continue its strategy of becoming the leading liquid waste management business in the UK.

Corporate partner Christian Farrow led the transaction, with the support and expertise of solicitors Elle McCook and Emma Lewis.
