We are seeking an ambitious and commercially minded Corporate Associate (4+ PQE) to join our highly regarded Corporate team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a broad range of high-profile corporate transactions, advising a diverse client base, including private and public companies, investors, private equity firms, and entrepreneurs.
As a key member of the team, you will play an integral role in delivering complex M&A transactions, private equity deals, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, and general corporate advisory matters. Our Corporate team is widely recognised for delivering commercially focused, high-quality legal advice on a wide range of corporate transactions. We work with a diverse client base, including entrepreneurs, owner-managed businesses, multinational corporations, private equity firms, and institutional investors.
The team has extensive experience across M&A, private equity, venture capital, corporate finance, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance, regularly handling high-value and complex transactions across multiple sectors.

Key responsibilities
- Advising clients on M&A transactions, private equity deals, corporate restructurings, joint ventures, shareholder agreements, and general corporate governance.
- Managing and coordinating due diligence processes, drafting and negotiating key transaction documents, and advising on deal structuring.
- Working closely with clients, leading negotiations, and managing transactions from inception to completion.
- Providing strategic corporate advice to businesses across a variety of industries, ensuring compliance with corporate laws and regulations.
- Collaborating with specialists across tax, employment, banking, and real estate teams to deliver integrated legal solutions.
- Supporting business development initiatives, attending client events, networking, and contributing to thought leadership and marketing efforts.
- Mentoring and supervising junior lawyers and trainees, providing guidance on technical legal issues and best practices.
- Keeping up to date with legal and regulatory developments, ensuring clients receive proactive and commercially sound advice.
About you
We are looking for a talented and commercially astute corporate associate with at least 4 years PQE gained within a leading corporate team. You will have experience advising clients on a range of corporate transactions, strong technical skills, and a proactive approach to client management and business development.
Personal specification
- 4+ years PQE in corporate law gained within a reputable UK law firm.
- Strong experience handling M&A transactions, private equity, corporate finance, and general corporate advisory matters.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- The ability to manage transactions from start to finish, working directly with clients and leading negotiations.
- Strong understanding of corporate law, regulatory requirements, and market trends.
- A commercial and solutions-focused approach, with the ability to provide strategic advice aligned with clients’ business objectives.
- Excellent client management and relationship-building skills, with a track record of developing and maintaining strong client connections.
