The Employment Rights (Increase of Limits) Order 2024 has been published in draft form and, whilst the anticipated changes are subject to parliamentary approval, the Order proposes the regular annual increase in Employment Tribunal limits.
Despite the increase in the maximum amount that can be awarded to successful Claimants, it is critical to bear in mind that each case will turn on its own facts and the amount awarded will be subject to individual circumstances.
These increased rates will be applicable to any dismissal, and tribunal claim, taking effect from 6 April 2024.
