Jake is a Consultant Partner in our Employment team.

He is an experienced employment specialist who handles a broad range of contentious and non-contentious matters on behalf of businesses and individuals.

Jake represents both employees and employers in the full gamut of employment litigation cases, including complex discrimination and whistleblowing. He is also adept at advising on and negotiating senior executive exits.

Jake’s non-contentious employment work includes advising on the employment aspects of corporate transactions as well as day-to-day HR issues. He has substantial experience reviewing and drafting employment contracts, service agreements, restrictive covenants, employment policies, bonus and commission schemes, employment business and agency contracts, consultancy agreements and settlement agreements.

Outside his legal practice, Jake launched the UK’s first alcoholic kombucha brand, Happy J’s.
