Acuity Law advises Brickability Group plc on its acquisition of Leadcraft Limited

Key Contact: Beverley Jones

Acuity is delighted to have advised Brickability Group plc (Brickability) on its acquisition of Leadcraft Limited (Leadcraft), a full-service roofing contractor based in Hampshire.

The acquisition of Leadcraft comes shortly after Brickability acquired Taylor Maxwell for £63 million. The deal represents another strong piece of business for Brickability, being its twelfth acquisition in the last three years.

The total purchase price for Leadcraft could be up to £5.5 million, with £3.3 million payable up front and up to £2.2 million payable in instalments over a three-year period.

Brickability CEO Alan Simpson has said: “This acquisition [of Leadcraft] will further strengthen and diversify our offering as we lean into the V-shaped recovery being seen across the construction sector.”

Corporate partner Beverley Jones and senior associate Tom Saunderson led the transaction, with cross departmental support from Ben Honour, Emma Hutchings, Daniel Evans, Chris Doherty and Ffion Morgan.
