Kate trained and qualified at Acuity and is a Solicitor in the firm’s Dispute Resolution team. Kate has a broad range of experience in commercial and corporate disputes including breach of contract and director and shareholder disputes, as well as public sector procurement disputes and high-value professional negligence claims.

Kate graduated from the University of Exeter in 2017 and completed her LPC and Masters in Law at Swansea University with Merit.

  • Acting on behalf of Loches Capital Limited in relation to its heavily reported successful pre-action disclosure application and consequent conspiracy case against Goldman Sachs International.
  • Acting in a professional negligence claim against a well-respected London law firm for their failure to serve a claim form on time, having issued protected proceedings.
  • Advising an international oil & gas offshore renewable client in its breach of contract claim against a UAE based entity.
  • Assisted in defending a claim by a freight and logistics business which included a counterclaim in excess of £1million.
  • Involved in defending a multi-million pound claim which looked at the issue of whether a particular provision amounted to an unreasonable restraint on trade, which is currently subject to Court of Appeal proceedings.
